Monroe: Chamber chooses 2014 theme

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce has its sights set on increasing tourism by drawing attention to what the city has to offer.

“Ride Here” is this year’s theme for the chamber’s marketing campaign. Chamber Director Annique Bennett expects to create content related to local ride-related experiences on the ChooseMonroe website.

The city offers equestrian activities, rodeos, NASCAR racing, motocross, dirt bikes, carnival rides, wakeboarding, boating and airplane flights.

The website will evolve this year to feature ride-related graphic elements, experiences, itineraries and stories.
