STANWOOD — A man died Thursday morning after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck near Stanwood.
The motorcyclist was traveling east on 268th Street NW. The collision happened around 6 a.m. in the 1800 block.
The motorcyclist is believed to be a Stanwood man in his 30s, said Shari Ireton, a spokeswoman with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of the pickup, a 42-year-old man, was not hurt.
He stayed at the scene to talk with police, Ireton said.
A section of street between Sunday Lake Road and 28th Avenue NW was closed while detectives investigate.
