EVERETT – Some 230 unionized staff of Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County say they will walk off their jobs for two days next month unless a contract agreement is reached.
The workers, including nurses, case managers, chaplains, and other staff say are planning to strike Dec. 6-8.
Hospice and home care staff voted to join SEIU Healthcare 1199 Northwest on April 6, 2016. Negotiations began Sept. 5 of last year.
