A few years ago I toured Edmonds with a member of the Historic Preservation Commission. He showed us many historical features of downtown. He mentioned that, in the past, murals were commonly used. He pointed out several blank walls that he thought would be perfect for murals.
Imagine my surprise and pleasure when a mural was recently placed on the Fifth and Main Street building wall. I think murals add to the charm and historic feel of our city. I look forward to more in the future.
