Thank you, Julie Muhlstein, for the wonderful article about Dr. Sanford Wright (“’Incredible legacy,’ Dr. Sanford Wright retires, sort of,” The Herald, Feb. 13).
I have been employed by Dr. Wright for the past 37 years. Initially, I was manager of his neurosurgical practice for 30 years and for the past seven years, his business and property manager at The Historic Hartley Mansion. I have nothing but praise for the heartwarming and interesting article written by Julie. She is clearly a master of collecting details and efficiently organizing them into a unique and interesting article. And she captured the personality of Dr. Wright perfectly.
I was born and raised in Everett and I’ve been reading The Herald for many, many years. I rely upon stories about our community by Herald journalists such as Julie and her colleagues who share their heart and soul with the rest of us in our community. Again, thank you so much, Julie, for an article that captured so perfectly the qualities and values of Dr. Wright, especially his love for his family, his patients, his friends and the arts.
I feel we are very fortunate that he will continue to serve our community. If you wish further information on the next part of Dr. Wright’s journey, you will find details at www.drsanfordwright.com.
