Regarding the Monday letter, “Stimulus efforts are effective”: So let me get this straight. If the states hire back the workers they let go, to save money the state didn’t have in the first place, than the economy would pick up? Is that about right?
Would the writer please tell me where the money would come from to pay these rehired state workers we didn’t have before? Without a robust private workforce and taxes, there is no more money. Where do these liberals get these dumb ideas. I guess the feds should just print more money; oh, wait that would cause inflation to go up. Darn, I guess that doesn’t work either. Oh, well it was worth a try.
