COUPEVILLE — Lynden Christian defeated Coupeville in the first-round of the 1A Northwest District Tournament, sending the Red Wolves to a loser-out game today at 1 p.m. Coupeville pitcher Matt Etzell had a strong performance on the mound, striking out 11 batters in the game, but came away with the loss.
