EVERETT — Federal prosecutors charged two Everett men of intending to distribute more than 7 kilograms of fentanyl, the U.S. attorney’s office announced Friday.
In a criminal complaint, narcotics detectives alleged a confidential informant purchased fentanyl from one of the two men in January. Investigators tracked the man to an Everett apartment.
A Seattle Police Department SWAT unit raided the apartment in January, a complaint said, and police arrested the two men. Police found thousands of dollars of cash and more than 7 kilograms of fentanyl, along with cocaine and methamphetamine, the complaint alleged.
