LYNNWOOD – Anthony’s newest off-the-water concept, Anthony’s Seafood Grill hosted it’s grand opening benefit dinner on Oct. 7.

In keeping with the tradition of naming a local nonprofit organization as the beneficiary, the Puget Sound affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the

Cure was picked in honor of longtime Komen and Anthony’s supporters Jerry and Charlene Lee of MulvanyG2. Jerry Lee has been a longtime friend and colleague of Budd Gould, president and owner of Anthony’s Restaurants.

MulvannyG2 Architecture designed the renovation of the Seafood Grill building at Alderwood. The interior of the restaurant was designed by Joey Ing, including colorful glass jellyfish light fixtures, glass octopus in the bar and an underground water feature in the lobby commissioned by a local artist.

Lynnwood Mayor Don Gough joined Gould, Lee, Ing and the Gould family to cut the ribbon, opening the doors to the new restaurant. Community members and leaders joined together with Susan G. Komen supporters and the Anthony’s team to celebrate and raise money for the fight against breast cancer.

Anthony’s Seafood Grill is open daily for lunch and dinner starting at 11 a.m. Seating is taken on a walk-in basis. It’s located in the Terrace area of Alderwood, next to the AMC-Loews Theatres at 3000 184th St. SW, Suite 870, Lynnwood.
