The Boeing Co.’s revamped 747-8 Freighter program continues to make progress in the factory here in Everett.
Earlier this week, the company joined the wings to the center wing box on the third 747-8 Freighter, said spokesman Tim Bader, in an e-mail. Boeing will have three of its 747-8 Freighters in its flight test program.
Boeing plans to fly the first 747-8 cargo jet later this year with first delivery set for 2010.
