Emirates has ordered four Everett-built 777-300ERs and taken options on up to nine more, the Boeing Co. announced on the first day of the Farnborough Air Show outside London.
The first four will be delivered in 2006, Boeing said. The Dubai-based airline has options on the remaining nine through 2012.
Terms were not announced. The jets have a list price of $203 million to $231 million each, depending on options, but discounts are common.
Also Monday, Boeing announced that Gol Linhas Aereaes of Brazil had ordered two additional 737-800 jets by exercising an option from a previous deal. The airline in May had ordered 15 737s, and taken options on an additional 28.
The planes have a list price between $57 million and $65 million each.
