Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes division has branched out in terms of its marketing strategy and into the world of podcasts.
The company’s chief blogger, Randy Baseler, who recently announced he plans to retire at the end of April, noted a new series of “Webisodes” on his site (http://boeingblogs.com/randy/). The programs can be downloaded or watched online.
Boeing’s Dreamliner will be the star and subject of the first podcast series (http://www.newairplane.com/). Future Webisodes will offer insights to the 787’s rollout and first flight. The company’s other aircraft programs, such as the 777 family and the new 747-8, will be featured in subsequent episodes.
