Combined chambers event called success
Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce was the sponsor of the multi-chamber Swing into Spring networking event on May 14. Co-hosting organizations were Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber, Stanwood Chamber, Economic Alliance Snohomish County and Lake Stevens Chamber. Because of the huge success of this event, the local chambers will now begin working together to create a quarterly event, rotating between the different chamber hosts.
Document shredding event planned in Bothell
Northshore Senior Center in Bothell is the site of a document shredding event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a separate Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Both are open to the public. The shredding event is free. The hearty pancake breakfast is $5 per person. Questions can be directed to Northshore Senior Center, 425-487-2441 or go to www.northshoreseniorcenter.org.
Groundbreaking occurred for new memory care center
Olympia-based Koelsch Senior Communities celebrated the groundbreaking of its latest community on May 28. Cedar View Memory Care Community will be located at 21006 72nd Ave. W in Edmonds. It will offer memory care and accommodations for 80 residents, with 24 hour on-site nursing, professional care, and full amenities such as meals, housekeeping and specialized activities.
