MOD Pizza opens Marysville franchise
MOD Pizza’s recently opened the Marysville MOD Pizza franchise, the sixth franchise in Snohomish County for the business. In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, MOD Piza donated $1 from every pizza sold from Nov. 24 through 29 to the Marysville Food Bank. In addition, Black Friday customers had the opportunity to add a dollar in order to increase the gift.
Port of Everett plans Holiday on the Bay event
The Port of Everett invites the community to a day of family-fun at its annual Holiday on the Bay event. The free community festival takes place from noon to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 1205 Craftsman Way, Everett. It includes activities, a tree lighting and a lighted boat parade. The Northwest Agriculture Center is seeking to fill a few openings on its board that meets six times a year. Snohomish banks raise food, money for food bank
In December, select Snohomish banks battle to fight hunger in the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce sponsored Seventh Annual Battle of the Banks to Benefit the Bank. Help your favorite Snohomish bank become the Heavy Weight Champion by donating money and nonperishable food items for the Snohomish Community Food Bank. Participating Snohomish banks include: Washington Federal, Columbia Bank, Coastal Community Bank, Opus Bank, and Peoples Bank at Fred Meyer.
