Several hires announced at Reid Middleton
Reid Middleton, an Everett-based engineering, planning and surveying firm, has hired Colin English as senior aviation planner, Brian Matsumoto as project engineer, Courtney Langer as designer 1, and Thomas Schoonover as survey party chief, in their Everett office. The company has also promoted Don Barclay and Karla Kendall to senior engineer and Melanie Haagsma to design engineer in their Everett office.

Export program receives bump in funding
A program to help small businesses sell their goods abroad received $17.4 million for Fiscal Year 2015, more than double its previous funding. The State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Program is designed to increase the number of small businesses that are exporting and the value of exports for those small businesses currently exporting.
