Plane Stupid, a group of protestors, hopped on board a barge carrying the wing of Airbus’ A380 superjumbo jet.
The environmental group pitched tents on the barge before they were removed, according to various news reports.
This won’t be the last you’ll likely hear this week from the protestors. Plane Stupid is staging a week-long campaign at London’s Heathrow airport to draw attention to the aviation industry’s contribution to climate change.
