Aug. 21

Forgery. 14500 block of 15th Ave. NE. Counterfeit money was used to buy merchandise at a local store.

911. A man called 911, then explained he was trying to dial 411.

Burglary. 3200 block of NE 205th St. Televisions and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Suspicious circumstances. 5000 block NE 188th St. Someone reported a vehicle was shining lights in homes. Subjects said they weren’t shining lights, but playing with an iPhone that was rather bright.

Disturbance. 17000 block of 37th Ave. NE. A group of adults tossing beanbags in their backyard were told to quiet it down.

Aug. 22

DUI. NE 175th St. and I-5. A reckless driver failed to pull over for several blocks, and was arrested and charged with DUI.

Disturbance. 15200 block of Densmore. Loud music was being blasted out of a window facing the street.

Theft. 16800 block of Bothell Way. A six-pack of Diet Coke was stolen from a convenience store.

Aug. 23

Accident DUI. N 155th and Aurora. An impaired driver crashed their car into the back of a stopped vehicle.

Burglary. 15200 block of Dayton Ave. N. Electronics were stolen from a residence while the victim was home.

Vandalism. 17800 block of Aurora Ave. Someone used green and purple crayons to mark a building.

Burglary. 800 block of NW 197th St. Xboxes were stolen from a home.

Theft. 15000 block of Bothell Way. A purse was stolen and the victim reported receiving charges on their credit cards.

Burglary. 4000 block of NE 174th St. A car was broken into overnight and a cell phone was taken.

Aug. 24

Theft. 16300 block of Meridian Ave. N. A motorcycle was taken from a victim’s yard.

Burglary. 19400 block of 12th Ave. NW. Unknown suspects cleared out a home staged for selling.

ID Theft. 14500 block of Greenwood Ave. Someone tried to use a stolen debit card and ID to cash a stolen check.

Burglary. 20100 block of Bagley Pl. Someone stole jewelry, CDs, toilet paper and popsicles from an apartment.

Aug. 25

Burglary. 14500 block of 5th Ave. NE. Someone removed a window at a house under remodel and stole tools.

Vandalism. 18600 block of Corliss Ave. A fence was sprayed with graffiti.

Larceny. 1300 block of N 205th St. Someone stole a kayak and a paddle from the back of a truck.

Larceny. 17200 block of 15th Ave. NE. Someone shoplifted DVDs from a local store.

Vandalism. 15500 block of Wallingford Ave. Kids were throwing rocks and hitting a vehicle.

Vandalism. 1800 block of NE 177th St. Someone punctured two tires on a vehicle.

Welfare check. 17300 block of Beach Dr. NE. An intoxicated man sleeping on a dock was sent on his way after officers confirmed he was able to care for himself.

Fraud. 16500 block of 35th Ave. NE. Someone charged several transactions to a victim’s checking account.

Burglary. 16000 block of Beach Dr. NE. Laptops, a camera and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Aug. 26

Controlled substance. N 155th St and Aurora. A DWLS arrest turned up 23.9 grams of heroin, 1 gram of suspected marijuana and 276 2 milligram Xanax pills.

Larceny. 300 block of NW Richmond Beach. A vehicle was broken into and miscellaneous items were taken.

Larceny. 15700 block of Aurora Ave. Someone shoplifted DVDs from a store.

Theft. 17500 block of Ballinger Way. Golf clubs, speakers and an amp were stolen from a vehicle.

Motor vehicle prowl. 3600 block of NE 155th St. A car radio and a wallet containing a driver’s license, Social Security number and a credit card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Aug. 27

Mental complaints. 16700 block of Aurora. Someone was committed for a mental health evaluation after being found wandering around naked and hallucinating.

Controlled Substance. 14500 block of Bothell Way NE. Someone was passed out in their car in a parking lot with a Crown Royal bag on the center console. Officers found a used crack pipe, and the subject admitted to having dope and a loaded syringe filled with black tar heroin.

Suspicious circumstance. 16000 block of 32nd Ave. NE. Someone reported a man trying to get into a vehicle with a slim jim tool. Officers found the man was the owner of the vehicle.
