All those daydreams about becoming an international man or woman of commerce? Well, here’s a look at how they might play out in the real world.
The Small Business Administration is offering a free online chat with experts coming up next week. The chat will cover exporting basics and general SBA capital and credit programs for small business owners. Here’s the SBA’s pitch: “Entering foreign markets can be a great way to boost sales and SBA offers loan programs to help small businesses expand or develop an export market. Business owners can find out if they are ready for exporting and learn more about how to get started.”
What: Web chat with the SBA’s Office of International Trade
When: Thursday, Jan. 28, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m (PST).
Who: Richard Ginsburg and Patrick Tunison of SBA’s Office of International Trade will host the web cast titled “Small Business Exporting and Access to Credit.”
How: Participants can join the live chat by going to www.sba.gov and clicking “Online Business Chat.” Participants can post questions before the January 28th chat by posting questions online.
