ILFC’s Steven Udvar-Hazy yesterday reiterated his advice he issued last month to Boeing and Airbus: slow aircraft production by as much as 35 percent.
“When a bomb explodes, the light flash travels a lot faster than the sound,” Udvar-Hazy said at a conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., reports Bloomberg. “The flash occurred in September, but the sound hasn’t reached Seattle and Toulouse yet.”
Goldman Sachs already lowered its predictions for Boeing deliveries for 2010 and 2011.
