SNOHOMISH — Do want to see your recipe on the grocery shelf?
The Snohomish Business Network is sponsoring a free event to help budding food entrepreneurs enter the prepackaged food market.
The FOODpreneuer meetup will feature experts from the food, financial and grocery industries, including Scott Wetzel, owner of Fresh Bread Designs; Craig Doan, chief food scientist, Impact Washington; Darin Leonard, director, OneAccord Capital; and Denise Breyley, local coordinator, Whole Foods Pacific Northwest.
The event will be Thursday, Jan. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Double Barrel Wine Bar, 108 Avenue A in Snohomish.
The event is free, but participants must register at bit.ly/2H1ouHP.
It is intended for people who want to get started in the packaged food industry — not food trucks or restaurants.
Participants need not be Snohomish residents to attend.
