Leadership Snohomish County, a nonprofit that fosters and trains local leaders, is seeking nominations for the fifth annual Deborah Knutson Women in Leadership Award.
The award is named for the late, longtime leader of the Snohomish County Economic Development Council who died in 2016.
The award is designated for “an individual who works tirelessly for economic development and viability in our region, strengthening the fabric of Snohomish County with her work,” said Kathy Coffey, executive director of Leadership Snohomish County.
Past recipients include Angie Sievers, director of Snohomish STEM Network; Lisa Lefeber, CEO of the Port of Everett; Diane Kamionka, CEO of Northwest Innovation and Resource Center; and Marie Zackuse, past chairwoman of the Tulalip Tribes.
To nominate someone, go to leadershipsc.org/women-in-leadership. The deadline is Aug. 16. For questions or inquiries, send an email to rileel@leadershipsc.org.
The award will be presented at Leadership Snohomish County’s Leadership Day on Oct. 13.
