Qatar Airways discussing 60-jet deal with Boeing

To me, it’s kind of like being the groomsman who announces at the rehersal dinner that he’s dating the groom’s ex-girlfriend. Be that as it may, the CEO of Qatar Airways told Dow Jones Tuesday in Tuolouse, during the ceremonies celebrating Airbus’ A380 rollout, that his airline is serious about signing a deal for up to 60 7E7s.

A Boeing spokeswoman had no comment, but here’s the Dow Jones report:
