Qatar closing in on mega-deal

That’s what Reuters reports from Doha, anyway, quoting CEO Akbar al-Baker as saying his airline expects to close on deals for 60 Airbus A350s and 20 Boeing 777s next month.

Key Quote: “Airbus has said it hopes to win board approval next month to formally begin building the A350. A signed deal with Qatar will help convince the board there is sufficient market demand to justify the program.”
