FedEx Corp. will hand out $1 million to promote itself and small business in the form of $25 gift cards to be spent Nov. 26, the second Small Business Saturday.
About 30,000 of the cards will be handed out to consumers on Facebook on a first-come, first-served basis starting Nov. 1.
It will also provide 10,000 of them to FedEx customers.
The Small Business Saturday debuted last year as a way to encourage people to shop at local businesses.
To help shops promote the event, FedEx will offer small businesses a 20 percent discount on the printing online of Small Business Saturday posters accessed by Clicking here beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
