When you’re managing a small business, it’s tough to find time to manage social networking sites.
That’s the key finding of a survey sponsored y Citibank and GfK Roper. Of roughly 500 small business owners surveyed, about 76 percent said they weren’t using social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. And about 86 percent said they weren’t looking at those sites for business advice.
“Our survey suggests that small-business owners are still feeling their way into social media, particularly when it comes to using these tools to grow their businesses,” said Maria Veltre, vice president of Citi’s small business operations, said in a release. “While social media can provide additional channels to network and help grow a business, many small businesses may not have the manpower or the time required take advantage of them.”
I guess that’s when when things like this start happening.
