A survey released yesterday by the National Federation of Independent Business got me thinking.
The NFIB characterized small business owners as “depressed” by the country’s economic outlook. And while they didn’t include any data about sleepless nights or prescription drug intake, most of us probably get what they meant.
We’re hearing about housing sales picking up and layoffs slowing down. But has it made a difference psychologically? There are still a lot of negative signals out there, after all.
