Zumiez reports increase in net sales

EVERETT — Zumiez, Inc., the Everett-based retailer of sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended May 26, 2012 increased 23.6 percent to $37.4 million, compared to $30.3 million for the four-week period ended May 28, 2011.

The Company’s comparable store sales increased 13.7 percent for the four-week period on top of a comparable store sales increase of 7.8 pecent in the year ago period.

Zumiez, www.zumiez.com, operates 448 stores in the United States and 11 stores in Canada, which are primarily located in shopping malls.
