Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best Mexican food:

First Place: El Paraiso Mexican Grill in Everett

El Paraiso Mexican Grill has locations in North and South Everett, Snohomish and Monroe. Their menu has soups, salads, fajitas, burritos, seafood and more.
