American Brewing teams up with Silvertips

Edmonds’ American Brewing Company has formed a partnership with the Everett Silvertips and will rebrand its Breakaway IPA and American Blonde with the Silvertips logo.

The beer will remain the same; no huge ice chunks or rubber pucks added.

“What better way to showcase our beers, especially Breakaway IPA?!” said American Brewing sales manager Ryan Waterman in an email.

The Silvertips logo will be on the beer labels and tap handles (at right) at Silvertips games at Xfinity Arena and at some area bars and pubs, but the beers will look the same in stores. Waterman said that they may develop and create an off-premise package for 22-ounce bottles and cans in the future. “This is our first year participating with this program,” Waterman said. “But we see this opportunity as another way to further develop growth and visibility within the Snohomish county region. … In a sense, “Local meets Local.”
