Capitol Hill Block Party reveals lineup

The 2013 Capitol Hill Block Party lineup has been released. It will be held July 26 to 28. There will be more bands added and announced later of course, but today’s news is pretty great.

The Flaming Lips and Girl Talk are headlining this year. Seattle’s own Pickwick is also at the top of the lineup, fresh off the release of their debut album “Can’t Talk Medicine.”

There are also some bands on the lineup that have played Everett in the last year like The Grizzled Mighty, Learning Team (playing the Anchor again on April 20), Fly Moon Royalty and Country Lips.

If you buy your three-day pass before this Saturday, you can get it for $75. Otherwise they will cost $95, still a really good deal for three days of music. And if you buy a three-day pass before this Thursday, you get access to that night’s Capitol Hill Block Party Premier Party at Neumos with Pickwick and Radiation City. That is a deal!
