Right off the bat, let’s dispatch with the ZooTunes lineup.

Despite having a few acts that look like holdovers from a 1998 Lilith Fair stop, the schedule looks like it will bring some fine bands to Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo this summer.

The full line-up includes the B-52s on June 17; Mavis Staples on June 24; Three Girls and Their Buddy (that is, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin and Buddy Miller) on July 1 and 2; Ladysmith Black Mambazo on July 15; Los Lobos on July 19; Cowboy Junkies with Son Volt on July 22; Indigo Girls on July 26; Jewel on July 30; Joan Baez on Aug. 13; Nanci Griffith on Aug. 16; Susan Tedeschi on Aug. 19; and Amos Lee on Aug. 26.

By my count, seven of those people played Lilith Fair in the late 1990s. Weird.

Tickets range in price from $19 to $28, depending on the show. Tickets are available at 8 a.m. Monday at Metropolitan Market locations and by clicking here. Learn even more by clicking here.

Plenty of other shows are going on sale, including the Capitol Hill Block Party, featuring Sonic Youth, the Jesus Lizard, the Gossip, Deerhunter and dozens more. Dig it:
