Concert presales: Cheap Trick, Mavis Staples, Twiztid

What’s that you say — your Christmas shopping isn’t done?

And you just happen to have a Cheap Trick fan on your list?

Boy, talk about luck. Tickets to a Tacoma show by everyone’s favorite Christmas band go on sale this Saturday, with a presale beginning today.

A couple other shows are going on sale in the days after Christmas, so when you hit Macy’s to return that Cuisinart, you’ll have a reason to swing by your local Ticketmaster retailer.

Cheap Trick, March 28, Emerald Queen Casino, Tacoma; $40 to $70; presale from noon today to 9 a.m. Saturday. I think the presale password is “cheaptrick,” but I’m not 100 percent on that. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Twiztid, March 21, Showbox at the Market; $19; presale from 10 a.m. today to 10 p.m. Friday. Sorry, I don’t have a presale password for this. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Mavis Staples, March 4 to 7, Jazz Alley, Seattle; $35. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30.
