Citrine Blues with Teresa James: The blues concert fundraiser for the nonprofit Citrine Health Clinic (breast, cervical and colon health programs, the Bra Shop, Women’s Wellness) starts at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 at Citrine’s event room, 2940 W. Marine Drive, Everett. Based in Los Angeles, James has performed on Disney soundtracks (“Holes”) and is known for her original songs (with her band the Rhythm Tramps) topping the Roots Radio charts. She has performed with Levon Helm, Delbert McClinton, Eric Burdon and many others. Her voice is featured on albums by Randy Newman, Eric Burdon, Tommy Castro, Bill Medley and Walter Trout. The event also includes an auction and food. Tickets are $35 online at www.citrineblues.org.

Snohomish Taste of Music: Three days of rock, jazz and lotsa blues, Aug. 18-20, in the Carnegie Education Center outdoor plaza at 105 Cedar Ave. Tickets are $10 a day or $25 for all three days. Proceeds support revitalization and beautification of downtown Snohomish. At 7 p.m. Aug. 18, see Samsara and Moon Daddy. Aug. 19’s show, which starts at noon, features Naomi Wachira, Stingy Brim Olde-Time Blues Project, Eric Rice, Randy Oxford and Theresa James &the Rhythm Tramps. The Aug. 20 show, beginning at noon, features CD Woodbury, Polly O’Keary and the Rhythm Method, The Sidemen, Kenny James Miller, Emerald City Jug Band, Amber Sweeney, John “Greyhound” Maxwell, Brent Benton, Jolene Gayle, James Brunner and Will Morgan. Music in the Museum, The Willow Trio: An evening of chamber music favorites begins at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 in the central gallery of Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Ave. S., Edmonds. Cellist Erika Pierson, violinist Pamela Liu and pianist Judy Huehn will play works by Schubert, Haydn and Piazzola. Tickets are $15, or $10 for museum members. Led Zeppelin Experience, the Doors Experience: Two tight tribute bands take the stage Aug. 19 for a night of classic rock at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. The authentic reproduction concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 each. Call 425-258-6766.

Sea Jazz: Summer performances by award-winning Edmonds School District musicians at 1 p.m. Sundays and 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 20 at the Edmonds Marina Plaza, 336 Admiral Way, Edmonds.

Air Force Band of the Golden West’s Commanders Jazz Ensemble: Free concert, 7 p.m. Aug. 24, Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.

Sky River Rock Festival: Aug. 25-26, River Park, under the U.S. 2 bridge across from 215 Main Street, Sultan. A tune-up to the 50th anniversary next summer of the 1968 Sky River Rock Festival and Lighter Than Air Fair. Information and tickets at www.skyriverrockfestival.rocks.

Cocoon House rock/hop benefit: Noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 26, Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. Hosted by Dylan Miller, the event will include 20 local bands, live paintings to be auctioned, poetry and comedy. More at www.facebook.com/events.

Arlington’s Music on the Terraces: Free performances, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 24, Terrace Park, 809 Fifth St., Arlington; 360-403-3448, www.arlingtonwa.gov/recreation. The Wingmen play Aug. 17. And the Ryders Band plays Americana, bluegrass and country Aug. 24.

Music at the Marina Thursdays: Free outdoor concerts, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 31, Port Gardner Landing, 1700 W. Marine View Drive, Everett; www.everettwa.gov/812. Eldridge Gravy &the Supreme Court perform Aug. 17, the Stacy Jones Band plays rockin’ blues Aug. 24. The series ends with Mark DuFresne performing his popular version of the blues Aug. 31.

Music at the Marina Saturdays: Free outdoor concerts, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturdays through Aug. 26, Port Gardner Landing, 1700 W. Marine View Drive; www.everettwa.gov/810. IvyLane performs Aug. 19. The series ends with Nick Drummond and friends playing alt-folk Aug. 26.

Edmonds Summer Concerts in City Park: 3 to 4 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 20 at City Park, Third Avenue S. and Pine Street. Free. The Debutones play folk and bluegrass on Aug. 20.

Edmonds Hazel Miller Plaza concerts: Noon to 1 p.m. for Tuesday shows and 5 to 6:30 p.m. for Thursday shows; Fifth Avenue S. and Maple Street. Free. Rain or shine. Mariachi Fiesta Mexicana performs on Aug. 17. Marimba player Ed Hartman plays on Aug. 22 and the 20/20 a capella pop group finishes the series on Aug. 24.

Stanwood Summer Concerts: Free concerts at 4 p.m. on most Saturdays through Sept. 9, rotating between west and east Stanwood. Chris Eger and his band perform on Aug. 26 on 271st in east Stanwood. Mark DuFresne takes the stage Sept. 9 on 270th. More at www.facebook.com/stanwoodsummerconcertseries.

Live at the Opera House: 5 p.m. third Thursdays, Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St. Admission is $5. The series continues Aug. 17 with the Margaret Wilder Band. Sept. 21 features Jill Newman; and Kellee Bradley on Oct. 19.

Jerry Dadap: The classical guitarist will perform a free concert of music by Villa-Lobos, Bach and Rodrigo at 7 p.m. Aug. 24, Stanwood Library, 9701 271st St. NW. A reception follows.

Women of Everett: KSER radio presents female musicians at 9 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Anchor Pub, 1001 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Those performing include Kelsey Hopkins, Sleepover Club, Goawaysun, Christa Porter and a trio called Laura.

Qristina and Quinn Bachand: This Irish Music Awards-winning sibling duo performs at 4 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. The Bachands fuse genres such as old-time, Celtic, folk and jazz to create their own musical style. They have toured with Ashley MacIsaac and Natalie MacMaster. Tickets are $15.

Simon Lynge: Normanna Lodge presents a concert by this Danish singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist at 7 p.m. Sept. 9, at 2725 Oakes Ave., Everett. Rolling Stone magazine called Lynge’s debut album “one of the most memorable and melodic … of recent years.” Admission is $15; tickets at simonlyngenormanna.brownpapertickets.com.

Jones &Fischer: E&E Lumber’s Country Showcase at the Marysville Opera House, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16, 1225 Third St. Tickets are $10 and are available at apm.activecommunities.com/marysvillewa. Darin Jones and Caleb Fischer play their own style of country rock. Bring your dance shoes.
