Concerts going on sale: AC/DC, Prodigy with Crystal Method, Jens Lekman

Sure, AC/DC is the big concert going on sale this week, but I’m also a little intrigued by USC.12.

The show — a United States of Consciousness event — features a couple bands who were supposed to represent the Future of Music Forever just a decade ago.

Things didn’t quite shake out that way, though. Prodigy and the Crystal Method sold their few million records, and then sort of went away. Fans of electronica must still like trancing out to the groups’ turntables and superb hair cuts, though. Tickets for the one-off USC.12 show are $55.

Sadly, none of the big shows going on sale this week have presales. Here are details and links to the ticket sales:

  • AC/DC, at the Tacoma Dome, $89.50. Tickets for the Aug. 30 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
  • USC.12 featuring the Prodigy and the Crystal Method, at the WaMu Theater, $55. Tickets for the May 30 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
  • Jens Lekman, at the Crocodile, $15. Tickets for the June 4 and 5 shows on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
  • The Veronicas, at Neumos, $15. Tickets for the June 28 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
