I can’t get excited about Bon Jovi adding a second Seattle date after hearing the group’s awkward ode to the working man — yikes — so instead, let’s talk about Phoenix.
The group’s latest album, “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix,” is easily the most fun, jittery, upbeat album of the year.
The group will play Seattle in December as part of 107.7 The End’s Deck the Hall Ball. That show sold-out, doubtlessly thanks to headliner Muse, a group that appeals to vampires.
Phoenix, however, will return in January, which should make fans of the French band thankful; they’ll be able to see a full set from the group.
Here’s a fan video of the group’s single “Lisztomania.” Dig it. Then take advantage of the Phoenix presale – details are below.

Through Jan. 21, visit the school library in Lynnwood to learn about how climate change is affecting weather patterns and landscapes and how communities are adapting.
Amid widespread power outages on Monday, the National Weather Service is expecting wind gusts of 45 mph in the county’s lowlands and foothills on Tuesday.
