Dogs available for adoption from Everett Animal Shelter

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

Macie is a very under socialized young dog. She is very wary of strangers and other dogs. She will need an adult only home committed to working with her and perhaps attending training classes geared towards fearful dogs. She may do OK with a calm well adjusted dog but will need a meet and greet. She will chase cats so caution should be used if there are felines in the home. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

Madison is an active young dog looking for a new home. She is on the shy side so any children in the home should be over the age of 12 years. Madison has done ok with other dogs she has met here but will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs. She will also need a feline free home as she does have some prey drive.
