For some, riding a motorcycle could be challenging.
For others, navigating an obstacle course could be challenging.
Combining the two? Leave that to the professionals.
An Everett audience will do just that at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Comcast Arena, as 30 to 40 extreme motorcycle riders show their skills during an adrenaline-fueled competition.
Saturday’s Geico EnduroCross will transform the venue’s floor into an area of logs, boulders and giant tires — among other challenges — for the riders to face.
Arena staff members say the Everett venue, at 2000 Hewitt Ave., will be the event’s only Northwest stop.
Riders will seek to navigate the course in the fastest times, hoping to advance to the next stage.
Several stops remain before the finals, which are set for Nov. 20 in Las Vegas.
Tickets to the Everett show, $16 to $40, are available at the arena’s box office, by phone at 866-332-8499 and online at www.comcastarenaeverett.com.
In addition to the Saturday evening show, a free “Wild About Wheels” event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day in the parking lot across from the arena. There, kids and parents can look closely at a fire truck, an Army H3 Hummer and some classic trucks and motorcycles.
