Step into the exotic world of Africa at the exhibit “Art of the African Mask” at Wicked Cellars in Everett, where you can experience the raw beauty of this cultural art while listening to the drums and guitar of Mohammed Shaibu, a master of African music and a native of Ghana.
The exhibit features about 60 museum-quality pieces from a dozen different tribes throughout Africa including the Dogon, Lega, Chokwe and Tabwa. Though mostly mid-century, there are a few pieces that are older. All pieces are for sale. This exhibit is brought by Michael Berg, local artist and collector.
The exhibit is at Wicked Cellars, 2616 Colby Ave., Everett. For more information call 425-299-3360.
