Length: 6.2 miles round trip
Difficulty: Easy.
Beginning elevation: 200 feet.
Elevation gain: None.

Notes: This popular trail along an old railroad grade wraps around the eastern edge of Lake Whatcom. The trail is wide and pretty, following the lakeshore and passing a waterfall, several streams and some big trees. Whether you’re looking for a gentle walk or a new spot to jog, the Lake Whatcom trail makes a nice change of pace.
