Home plan: Chrystal Bay works well on a narrow lot

Because today’s lots have become so narrow, it is exciting when a home meets that need and looks great also.

The Chrystal Bay is a two-story home with a footprint about 29 feet wide by 50 feet deep. It has a country farm style look with a covered porch and a two-car garage.

Entry is into a large great room covering the entire left side of the main floor. A rear fireplace has windows on each side.

A staircase separates the great room from the rest of the home. It leads upstairs, as well as down to an optional unfinished basement with 802 square feet.

The nook has two large windows in the rear. A door to the rear deck is between the great room and the nook.

The kitchen is C-shaped with a center island. The eating bar faces the nook, with the sink in the same area and plenty of counter space. A pantry on the corner next to the refrigerator is convenient to a door into the garage. Adjacent to the great room and the kitchen is a half bath.

Three regular bedrooms, along with the master suite, are all upstairs. Bedrooms 3 and 4 each have large windows and a wall closets. They are directly opposite a full bath with a tub. Between bedrooms 2 and 3 is the laundry room. Bedroom 2 has a walk-in closet and a window.

The master suite is almost square, with two windows facing the rear. The master bath is enormous with two sinks, a vanity and an oversized tub. The shower and toilet are in a separate room. A large walk-in closet is across from the sinks and vanity.
