Hello and welcome to Hotel D’Additional Charge. At Hotel DC, we’re working together, against you.

As you see, our name is only slightly French, but not genuinely French. This is to ensure that your shuttle, GPS or taxi driver of indeterminate origin has the maximum difficulty in finding us. By the time you arrive, any hotel would be acceptable. Even Hotel DC.

Our bellhop will be eager to greet you at the door, eager to carry your bags to the elevator and eager to receive a tip. Our bellhop will also have access to your room later in the day, should he be eager to provide feedback on this tip.

While checking in, be sure to listen carefully to the list of possible additions to your room, available at an extra charge. Many guests like to avail themselves of an additional pillow. Most guests like to have at least one pillow. Sheets, as well, are nice. All can be provided at minimal cost.

Here is a key card for your room. An additional key card will mean a $10 charge. Replacing this key card will mean a $10 charge. You may pay for a key card with your charge card. That will be a $2 charge.

Warm water is an additional charge. Single servings of soap, shampoo, toothpaste and lotion are available in a vending machine in the lobby. The machine accepts tokens provided at the front desk. Change is not provided.

Settle in for the evening in our comfortable queen-sized bed. We do not, however, recommend direct contact with the comforter.

At checkout, any undue mess or disorder will be charged to your room accordingly.
