If you’ve come to think of political debates as nothing more than dry exercises in boring, endless, back-and-forth talking-points pap, well, think again.
The New York gubernatorial debate on Monday was downright exciting.
Billed as “90 minutes of political theater verging on farce,” the debate featured a variety of not-so-run-of-the-mill debaters.
Of most note was, perhaps, Jimmy McMillan, the candidate of The Rent Is Too Damn High Party. Though, he’s clearly playing at his own game of politics, McMillan is a joy to watch.
