SKY Theatre fall classes and workshops: Six-week theater exploration classes and workshops for children in grades K-two and three-five begin Oct. 13, tuition $75-$85. Children in grades four-seven and six-12 learn performance skills, build self-confidence and public speaking ability, plus the chance to audition for “The Wizard of Oz,” one-day workshop for grades four-seven set for Nov. 20 (Stanwood-Camano School District conference day) and four-week workshop for grades six-12 begins Nov. 24, tuition $75. Young singers sought/Northwest Boychoir: Boys between the ages of 6 and 9 can audition for the popular Northwest choir, no prior musical training required; boys 10 and older with significant choral or other musical training may also audition. Young singers sought/Columbia Children’s Choir: Children in grades one-eight can audition for spaces in the choir’s Lynnwood group, no experience required but an audition and ability to concentrate and carry a tune are necessary.
