The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will hold a boating safety course on Saturday, bringing boaters in line with state safety requirements.
The daylong course begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, at West Marine, 1716 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. The course covers basic safety, boat handling and trailering.
The course costs $35. Call Richard Gibson at 425-670-0364 or e-mail rgibson701@comcast.net to register.
Upon completion, attendees can earn a Boater Education Card. Under state law, the card is required for all boaters 25 or younger as of Dec. 31.
