Let there be Glee

Set your DVRs or change your plans, the long awaited season premiere of Glee airs tonight on Fox at 8 p.m. If you haven’t caught this high-school comedy meets after-school special drama, it’s a blends the best of the sitcom with fantastic musical numbers. Just when the plot begins to get serious, actor Jane Lynch saves the day as cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester.

Lynch reportedly told Jay Leno last night that her character’s new nemesis will be the football coach. We’ll see how that plays out. I’m waiting to watch the show with the rest of the world tonight, but if you want a preview, check out this review on TV Guide.com.

If you missed the first season of Glee, there’s hope. Fox just released it on DVD and Blue Ray stuffed full of extras.
