Marley’s Ghost is known for its roots music, four-part harmonies and for playing most any type of music really, as long as it involves a stringed instrument.
The members of Marley’s Ghost, who have performed together for decades, play a variety of musical instruments.
Their most recent release, “Ghost Town,” is traditional country. During their concert on Sunday in Arlington, Marley’s Ghost will play country but also sprinkle in some rock ’n’ roll classics.
The members are Dan Wheetman on guitar; Jon Wilcox on mandolin; Mike Phelan on pedal steel, dobro, bass and fiddle; Ed Littlefield Jr. on pedal steel, fiddle and bagpipes; and Jerry Fletcher on percussion, keys and accordion.
The Jazzmine Quartet will open the show. They are Arlington High School singers Justin Goheen, Brennan Kmet, Dylan McFadden and Jordan Tanquay.
Marley’s Ghost plays at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington.
Tickets are $15. Tickets are being sold at Flowers by George, 335 N. Olympic Ave., Arlington, and online at byrnesperformingarts.org.

Proceeds from the concert will go to public art in Arlington, with a portion dedicated to making banners of original art painted by members of the Arlington Arts Council to hang on light posts throughout the city.
