School’s closed on Presidents Day, but Imagine Children’s Museum has come to the rescue.
Though usually closed on Mondays, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 15 with a full roster of activities.
“Imagine likes to fill the needs of the community,” communications specialist Christi Berglund said, “and one way to do that is to be open during school holidays.”
Kids can get a head start on St. Patrick’s Day (in March) — Irish-themed fun is the order of the day on Feb. 15 in day camps from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
While the museum will be open to all kids that day, the camps are meant only for preschoolers through fifth-graders.
The Lucky Leprechauns and Luck of the Irish camps require registration and cost $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers.
Regular admission, $7.50 for everyone over the age of 1, covers continuing events such as all-ages carpet skating, which is set for 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 15.
The Imagine Children’s Museum is at 1502 Wall St., Everett. Call 425-258-1006, ext. 1012, or go to www.imaginecm.org for more information.
