Class time: Navigating the multiple avenues available for purchasing a home these days can be confusing, so the Washington State Housing Finance Commission offers informational sessions to help buyers.
Sue Hall of Guild Mortgage and Andrea Tucker from Lamoureux Real Estate will present a five-hour class beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lamoureux offices, 1904 Wetmore Ave., Everett.
Those who attend will receive a certificate, good for two years, which allows a buyer to qualify for a lower interest rate through the state bond program. See www.wshfc.org for more information about the programs.
Registration is required by calling 425-870-6699. Refreshments will be provided.
Housing market: Don’t walk away from your house if you don’t have to. Prudential Northwest real estate broker Marvetta Toler offers Saturday workshops on foreclosure alternatives from 10 a.m. to noon at Prudential Northwest Realty, 19815 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
The seminar on Saturday will be facilitated by www.Homesightwa.org, a nonprofit agency.
