Hop on down to Seattle and taste some scotch at the ninth annual Hop Scotch Spring Beer and Scotch Festival.
Festivities are scheduled from 5 p.m. to midnight April 1 and 1 p.m. to midnight April 2 at Fremont Studios, 155 N. 35th St., Seattle.
More than 60 handcrafted microbrews and imports will be available, as will samples of Scotch whisky, tequila and boutique wines.
General admission is $25 online in advance, $30 at the door, and includes entrance, a 5-ounce commemorative glass and five beer/wine tasting tokens.
Nontasting admission is $15.
Samplers of five scotch or tequila tastes are $10. Scotch seminars are available at additional costs.
Proceeds benefit Seattle International Film Festival, scheduled this year May 19 to June 12.
