The Banff Film Festival: Historic Everett Theatre presents this year’s virtual Banff Film Festival, an annual presentation of short films and documentaries about mountain culture, sports and the environment. Music on Film: The 2011 documentary “Give Me the Banjo” brings together banjo players in all styles — including Earl Scruggs, Pete Seeger, Bela Fleck, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Mike Seeger, Don Vappie and Abigail Washburn — to tell the story of America’s stringed instrument.
